Check this kid out. First time I came across his designs. A freaking wooden Jacuzzi? Detail on his stairs are incredible.

This is a video featured on their website. Obviously marketing.
The work is very detailed and unique, but far from magic.
And i would call him a DESIGNER, not a craftsman.
IMHO, the craftsmen were the guys working throughout the video.
They deserve some of the credit this guy receives.
It never showed him doing the woodworking.
Instead, he was seen with a pencil multiple times.
I would bet the design software does a lot of the mastery.
Just my point of view, FWIW.

I saw another one that said he got the bug learning shipbuilding. I'm sure he is a master woodworker. You don't hatch ideas like this without lots of intimate time with wood. You are correct though that they use a lot of modern tools like cnc and power carvers. No modern tools to bend those stair balusters
