Ever need a cheater bar on a rivet gun before?

I put some lock hasps on the cap of my pick up this am with 3/16" x 1/2" stainless rivets. Tried three different rivet guns before resorting to a couple of cheater bars. Either I'm getting weak or those rivets were the hardest I'd ever seen. Was concerned about bending the rivet gun but it seemed to survive intact. LOL...

Anybody else ever need to do this?

We use some real heavy ones on the combine, broke several rivet guns until we found one that could hold up. I have never actually used a cheater on it because of accessibility but it is painful to pinch them tight enough to snap.

I had to do 14. Did 8 by hand before giving up. The cheater bar (bars actually) worked well but I was afraid the gun was going to bend. Only had 6 left and it worked fine. Space wasn't an issue.
