Hi Gents,

Have a local seller with a belt sander for sale that looks promising. Supposed to have a new motor. Any help on the ID of this brand or maker would be very much appreciated! I'll post the pics I have below.

Thanks again!

Baldor belt grinder - the version without the tilt back feature for better access to the bottom contact wheel. A nice 2x48 belt grinder for the money.
Thanks sir and this would be correct. I found the below pic which matches her. I picked her up for $200 and a minor hernia (jokes). Stock photo below but I’ll be cleaning her up and posting pics!

I hope you are not going with the cut rate Amazon e-stop switches. If so, you might measure the contact resistance. I supposedly bought some quality ones for a lower current application at work and most had 3-4 ohms of resistance but were rated for 15A. If I had used them at max current I am not sure if they would have melted, caught on fire or both. I usually look for NOS industrial grade ones on Ebay for a steep discount.

E-stop was a poor choice of words as it isn’t safety redundant an isolated like industrial code. Just an on/off box with a Mashable stop button. PO had her plug and play 😳.

Thanks for the tip.

Damn nice score. I bought a used 2x72 Ameribrade belt grinder for $1600 to make knives with. You scored.
