Ever tried a pokit?

I came across this device called a pokit. It's a small, portable, multimeter, logger, and oscilloscope for $98. It uses your phone/tablet as a display.

I think it also uses your phone as the memory. It would be nice if I could set it up to run overnight without leaving my phone with it. I would probably buy an older phone to serve as the display if I needed to do that.

I have a fancy *** oscilloscope from the 1990s. It's huge, difficult to use, has a stand with wheels. Requires expensive probes.

I bought a pocket oscilloscope, under $100. It does the vast majority of jobs where I need to see the actual signal. Has an LED screen.

Not sure what you're after - but if you're looking to data log electrical there are some pretty good kits that are Pi based.

But the processing power of phones can be used for lots of things.. Digital tuners, controlling mixing boards, FLIR camera functions.

I will say that my phone has replaced a bubble level in 98% of cases...
