Evercraft was Napa’s lower end Taiwan/China took line back a few years ago. It might be old stock? I don’t know but I don’t remember seeing Evercraft in Napa the last time I was there. I could be wrong of course.
Not garbage but just your typical Asian made tool set. Nothing special imho.
I’d prolly spend the extra coin and get this - it seems like a more complete set and we know that the warranty is good.
I have a few Evercraft odds and ends and they all work very well. A close friend has almost nothing but Evercraft sockets and hasn't complained about them.
There's nothing wrong with Evercraft sockets. Honestly, the few I have are better machined and finished than my Craftsman USA stuff. The ratchet looks like a run-of-the-mill 72-tooth.
