If you need some cheap specialty tools for...cheaper than usual, hit up NAPA. Apparently they're getting a new line of cheap tools.
What isn't more expensive now than it was in 2019?Almost all the individal impact sockets are sold out. Even if they are at half price some of the sets are more expensive than they were on sale in 2019 https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=444151669726574&set=pcb.444154239726317&locale=en_GB
My hourly labor rate, apparently. I'm paid well, but no pay increases in 6 years. What isn't more expensive now than it was in 2019?
I was in a NAPA today and the replacement line is Performance Tool. They only had a few in stock but point appears to be similar to Evercraft but quality seems better. If you need some cheap specialty tools for...cheaper than usual, hit up NAPA. Apparently they're getting a new line of cheap tools.
That stuff is showing up everywhere. Hopefully it will make it easier to warrantyI was in a NAPA today and the replacement line is Performance Tool. They only had a few in stock but point appears to be similar to Evercraft but quality seems better.
This store also had Craftsman on clearance. Both of the lines were at very good prices, but I didn’t see anything I needed.
What specifically are you looking for? I think all of the NAPA Evercraft sold through the stores (and some went cheap!). NAPA does not often have deep clearance pricing, but they appeared to want to blow the Evercraft stuff out. Craftsman and other stuff, not so much.I hate to dredge up an old thread, but there are a few Evercraft items I wish I had purchased before they discontinued the brand. Was everything liquidated through NAPA stores, or is there a possibility one of the well-know eBay sellers such as Cripe's Distributing for example bought a warehouse full for pennies on the dollar?
I have to say, I bought a lot of Evercraft over the years and I'm still disappointed in NAPA's decision to replace them with Performance Tool.
