For some reason I think Evercraft is a ACE hardware brand? I think they are MIC (Made in China) specials... not sure how good a quality they are. I'm sure nothing spectacular.

No, If it looks good and works good, buy it. For my money almost all air tools are import anyway, and unless you make your living with it, buy it. I was talking about their line of hand tools anyway. I have cut corners quite successfully with air tools and have yet to be disappointed, so yes , go for it.
