You might consider the harbor freight Vulcan machines. They are getting good reviews from members of weldingweb. Harbor freight is a brick and motor store, offers extended warranty, AND you can return it to them , no shipping.

I have a Vulcan omni220 it's great. I accidentally broke a knob off it while reorganizing the garage. I took it back to the store they gave me an entirely new welder in box with an entirely new set of accessories. They let me keep the old accessories. Super simple and easy. And they extended my warranty from the date I got the replacement machine

Not a bad suggestion at all. At ~60% of lincoln's SW200.
