standard on one side metric on the other.
Honestly, I don't know why they would make this. I have never seen another one. Ironwork? Came from my father.
Crescent brand made in USA...no part numbers.

Those double ended Crescent wrenches are sweet. But I think yours is metric on both ends.. it's the rarer right hand thread/left hand thread model.

I've seen only a few of those come up at auction and they always bring more than $100.

If both are left handed, its left-handed monkey wrench then right? :spit:

I believe the concept in dbl ended adjustables is that you keep one set for one bolt, the other set for a different bolt, when you have several pairs of two sized fasteners. Like gas regulators.

Funny thing about those tools they made them by the boat load but because people hold on to them and never let them go they are going for big bucks. Kind of like holding on to the penny which most of us do.

No, I recognize that one. Upper end is Russian customary units, bottom is in cubits...you know, just in case you have to build an ark or something.

I have one that is an "8" on one end and a 10" on the other :wtf: Aren't they both the same length? (But the head sizes do match as indicated to the matching single end sizes)

Ok, that one's funny, but I would think the difference would be in the thickness of the jaws.
Anyway, what you've really got is a 25.4cm on one side and an 8" on the other.

Good grief you guys... metric this, standard that, Russian, cubits, right/left thread...

And you guys call your self wrenchers. You should be embarrassed.

If any of you have ever twisted a wrench in earnest, you'd know there are plenty of times when you need one size wrench for the bolt head, and another size for the nut. That's where these come in: you use one end on the bolt head, and the other end to hold the nut on the back side.
