G'Day All,

Been poking around various threads on the forum, and since the pics I could see - were full of good ideas and info ..

.... I figgered there must be some bonza stuff displayed in those pics - That only registered members could see .. ..

Mainly on the lookout for tricky storage ideas to add to my own ... and am liking what I've seen so far on the forum ..

... and jealous of a bunch of other stuff I've seen .. :eyecrazy: ..

Built a new shed at the start of the year ... tis not real big ... and the 20x20 lockup section, has to share space for tools, household items overflow, gardening gear, etc., ... and still be used for vehicle servicing and general tinkering ...

.... so its not likely it will ever be a proper mancave ... or the, Alladin's Cave, that some of you blokes have ..

Tool collection is pretty ordinary ... a few leftover, reasonable quality brand, survivors, from a fire a good while back - and varying quality, replacement stuff, as it could be afforded ... No speciality gear anymore - just basic car maintenance and household repair gear.

Being old, retired, and penniliess ... is not a good time to start restocking a toolbox ..

Shed is a typical offering from steel shed companies down here ... Its only 20x50 overall - but a bit more weatherproof than the 40x80 leaky, rattly, haysheds and things I've been used to - before moving into town ...

Cars are daily driver hacks ... so there wont be any pics of flash toys from me ... but one of 'em is american ... if that helps ..

Wellll ... thats about me done - so I'm off to look at newly available piccies ..:drool:

Cheers Fellas ... you have a good site by the looks of things.

Lots of interesting topics to get sidetracked on ..

Will have a look at the downunder section,

.... as sociable aussies and kiwis - is something I thought only happened on ANZAC Day .. ;);) ..

Well, just the guy I needed to meet! HTH can we shake hands 15,000 miles apart? WTF is "bonza" stuff?

We ought not be penniless, old, yes, retired, certainly, but not penniless, in our "old age"! It sounds as though you folks down there have gotten "used" over a lifetime of productivity, just as we have here in U.S.!

I learned there are surprising differences in "American Cars" built for Aussie market than here. Parts harder to come by. I further wondered WHERE those vehicles destined for Aus. were originally built. Down under?

Currently trying to help a guy down there get parts for his Explorer. We all seem to be victims of circumstance, eh? monkey

Depends on the brand and model these days.

Pretty sure my old XJ ... is just the euro rhd model ... except that somebody in Toledo scribbled, Australia, on the fedex sticker, and slapped it on the windscreen .. :D:D
