Excel 2 Drawer Middle Box, Anyone have one ?

I was looking at these for the possibility of going on my trike at work, but I can't find any info on the inside drawer Height.

I would also like a little review if anyone has one. I couldn't find any in the stores so I have no idea of the quality/rigidity etc.. Thanks

Model number? Sometimes the same size box comes in different grades.

Trike at work? That's not much to go on.

Looks like viper has a similar one, they list the drawers at 2.25" in height.

At Amazon in the THIS ITEM chart, the TB2502X is 16 x 29 x 13 in.

That's not just juxtaposition or rounding error. I would want to know what it REALLY is before ordering.

Hmmm... further down, it's 26.5 L x 12 D x 9.6 H-Inch.

Personally I'm not a fan of 12" boxes for rolling cabinets (cabinet, middle or top). I had an intermediate depth (16" I think) Middle for a while, with a 12" Top Box, and it was just OK. I replaced the Mid and Top with a full depth top box with more drawers than the old Middle+Top, and that is awesome. Takes up the same amount of floor space, too.

I only find 12" deep boxes useful for portable use, or on top of a workbench, because they don't take up as much space. But I've been trying to move all of them off of workbenches (even though I have a 10' workbench), because... they don't belong there, and they take up space. A workbench is for work, not storage.

I have a specific use for a smaller box like this, "On my trike" . It has a base box on it now with dimensions of 23w x 20 deep, "front to back" and I want to stack another one or two on top of it without having too much overhang.
I've seen smaller carry boxes that would almost be perfect but the drawers aren't deep or tall enough for much.
