I recently ordered a Knaack gang box from Zoro Tools. I used a 20% discount code and ended up with an unbeatable price. I was out of town on a job when it arrived at work. Our receiving guy was on break when it arrived so one of the office guys signed for it without looking at it. It had been punched with a forklift in transit (it was off loaded with a pallet jack) and it had a bad dent. I got back to the shop a couple of days later and figured I would be out of luck because it had been signed for. I figured what the heck, I'll see what Zoro has to say. I called them and explained the situation. The woman I spoke to, Joyce, said no problem, sorry for the situation. They emailed me all the paperwork completely filled out for the return. We had it on a truck heading back the same day, freight collect. As soon as Zoro received confirmation from UPS Freight we had shipped it, they sent another on it's way. It was a super simple and painless return, and the second one arrived undamaged. I'll be doing more business with Zoro.

Hmm, nice. Guess it's just me not getting that out of stock (showed available) hammer set until June. Ordered the third week of April, no out of stock notification from Zoro UNTIL two days after I called them about the order.

Yea, EliteToolBoxes was the same way.. It was inspected but the box not opened... turns out.. UPS dropped it and it took 2 large impacts. One on the side and one on the bottom. Wasn't seen as the box rebounded enough to just look worn from being shipped 160 miles. (yea, UPS couldn't even get the box 160 miles without damaging it..)

Filed claim with UPS. UPS denied it. I called manufacturer who shipped it.. they said call Elite. I called Elite, Elite initiated claim, asked for pics of the damage and sent an order in for a new one. No word yet on what they want done with the damaged one. I am awaiting word also to my question at the manufacturer if I can pick the tool chest up in person since UPS can't do their job.

Waterloo and Elite have amazing customer service. <3 Will buy from them again if I need to.

I bought a Dayton 1x42 belt sander from them. The sheet metal cover was twisted but not bad. I called Zoro to see if I could get just the cover. The lady said , I'll ship another sander out now and they'll pick up the damaged one. Next day my replacement arrived and they took the old one.
Their 30% off deals a few years ago were the best !!! Now they have restrictions and their prices have been increasing. I bought all my belts and discs from them.

Bought a grease fitting thread identifier from them. The 6x1 size was not threaded so after a call to Zoro they sent out another one. Great customer service, now if only their sale catalogues would get here before the sale ends...

All my transactions have been excellent with Zoro. I appreciate that they (Grainger?) recognize a need to serve the little guy.

Just a word to the wise...

Yes zoro is a fantastic place but (always a but) sometimes a deal is not a deal.

They sent me one of their flash deals that lasts for a few hours and I was in full excitement to buy a ratchet, so after doing all the math and taking their 25% discount plus free shipping I was ready to make that call; that is until reality set in and I did a quick web-check.

Turns out some other web-site had the same tool in question plus free shipping for only a few dollars more. Really zoro asking full list price when other web sites are listing it for the fair amount the first time is what I call a little on the dirty side if you ask me.

Yea it is good to cross check their prices

But sometimes there are really good deals to be had as well, I just ordered a Husqurvana WT 15 water pump and got almost $95 off compaired to other online prices due to their 25% off. But their price on that particular item is the same as all of the other online vendors unlike some of their items which are significantly higher
