excessive adds?

This morning is the first time I've really spent time logged in and navigating The Garage Journal, The adds are a bit excessive, I expect some adds but these are Audio/video adds that come up every couple of minutes and sometime I cant see them to hit the x. Can someone shed light on this?

I've not seen them. Might be run off from another site. You watch Xtube or something like that? A kid I know complained of ads coming from that site. It can be annoying I bet!

add video is Slumberland and at bottom displays "add by maps frontier"...

I was having some problems last week with other windows starting. Problem fix was to remove some Extensions in the Chrome browser. Click the 3 dots top right, tools, and extensions. Remove all that you did not add, mine were marked as added by third party.

You should not be seeing any adds except for 'Free Parking'. More than likely you have a computer issue.

Larry_G, confirmed. Last time it popped up I clicked on the ? and it showed where to shut off. I'm on Firefox, so I click on 3 horizontal lines at top right of browser then click add-ons and finally extensions. from there I was able to shut it off. Not sure why nit was there to begin with but whatever its gone now!

Again I expect it could be an issue as to how you browse the forum. Good to know you have it shut off.

Sounds like adware to me. I've never had one ad or video ad or any add whatsoever play on this site.

I think the only time i see an ad is when I'm viewing while not logged in .
but that is seldom

We don't serve ANY ads if you are logged in. The only exception is free parking. And even then, it's small... So, you have malware.

If your using the garage journal app on android the ad's are excessive and most are flagged as malware.

Using both Windows, and Android at this moment. No ads, except small ones inline with the thread headers. Not excessive, and not malware. If you are getting malware on your mobile device, you have malware.

This is not the case tested on fresh asop. Install most the ad's where the young muscle builder is all grown up. Or the one about top ten grocery shopping tips. Are standard click bait malware sites. I wiped system , cache and dalvik before installing asop without gapps to test this app. Since my dns and vpn were blocking this app.
