Excessive gap between garage floor and driveway

In my opinion there is a large gap between garage floor and driveway. About 1.250 inch at widest point. This gap fills in with dirt and debris and I would like to make it smaller.

What is the correct/best method to employ here to fill this gap: concrete, fill dirt, tar, ...

The gap is the entire length of the garage. Additionally, there is a built up area leading from drive to man door going into garage. Same issue here - pretty big gaps. I would like to fill those in also but I don't know the correct way to proceed.

Your thoughts

Frank

That's more or less a sink whole from the backfill on the footings not getting compacted. You may want to stick a video scope in there. I think you're in the realm of Foam-Jacking to fix this.
