I've posted in another thread the small garage I just built for my 911. It's only 22 x 12 with an 8' ceiling. It was originally an overhang which we poured footings and foundation for with new slab, exterior plywood, Hardyplank siding, R30 or so insulation in ceiling and walls.
It has 2 regular size windows and an 8' garage door.
If I pull my 911 in right after a drive, the heat it gives off makes the garage really hot. I've taken to leaving the car out for a few hours before pulling it in.
However, the other day I decided to get an exhaust fan for one window. I wish I had put a fan through the roof but it's too late now.
Well, the Bionaire fan I got was from Costco and it's getting returned.
1. It didn't fit in window well at all. Really sucked in fact.
2. There's nothing that would stop flying insects from going right through the grate.
So what are my choices? I have one of those indoor rolling air conditioners I don't use but that seems a bit overkill, especially on the electric bill.
I searched Amazon and saw a fan that has a storm guard, which I think was described as the ability to close the window in front of it in case of a storm.
Thanks for helping me with options.
