I have one similar to the lisle one. It's worth every penny in my opinion. I used to pry those off with a screwdriver and vise grips and won't ever do it that way again. I usually spray a shot of spray grease on the end and they pop right off with the pliers.

I have the lisle version and it works great! I remember fighting with the rubbers for ever until I got these, no more messing around. :rocker:

I've looked at those pliers for some time now but never pull the trigger. I can usually get them off with some lube and screwdrivers but for 18 bucks I need to get one. The problem is those hangers are usually something you need to remove right away, don't usually plan it so you do what you have to to get them off and then forget about the pliers.

I have the lisles one. They work ok, as long as the metal hanger has not rusted into the rubber, then they can be really tough to remove.

Before I remove any of them I just spray a bit of penetrating lube into the rubber around the metal and they usually will slide out with a little effort from the tool.
