I have a 20 year old version of this style that has worn out and need to replace.

Anybody use this style?

The thing I don't like about mine is you have to squeeze the handles together hard while swinging it to have any cutting action. That can be quite tiring.

When I was younger I used to replace the exhaust system on my car and didn't think twice about it. But now I am older and hopefully a little wiser, so I just take the car to the local muffler shop and have them fix it. I am not trying to BS you when I say the cost to have the local muffler shop do the job is not much more expensive than if I do it myself. Plus, I don't get skinned knuckles and bruised arms. If I had a lift, then MAYBE I would be more apt to work on an exhaust problem.

To try and answer your question, I have an air powered angle cutter wheel tool that works quite well, but if I were a business I would want something faster and more suited to do the job. A cutting torch works quite well too.

You go to a muffler shop, you'll get cheap tubing and crush-bends.

You buy a mandrel-bent kit, (available for popular cars/trucks, sometimes in Stainless) or mandrel bends and piece the system together yourself, it'll perform much better.

Blue Point TC90A. You can get one on eBay for around $30.

I bet that Lang makes the tool for Blue-Point.

I used a hacksaw (manual), sawzall, angle grinder/cutoff tool and a portaband saw. They all got the job done.
