Exhaust question on Raznor UDX60

I am trying to figure out a proper way to run my exhaust line. The complication in my case is about the horizontal part of the run. To place UDX in the back of the garage so it faces garage doors i need a horizontal run of about 20' and then going up through the roof. According to Raznor docs the total length of the run including the vertical part needs to be 30' or less. I have looked at Modine and Mr. Heater and both of them say 30' or less just for the horizontal part of the run. What is it about Raznor that causes it to mandate a shorter run? I really like the Raznor brand more than others. My garage is attached side-load and don't have many options for venting because of the house structure about garage.

Why is Reznor different? Why is Ford or Chevy different? Their unit was engineered to a certain set of spec's and that is all the venting that is allowed.

Mount it where you need to for the venting to work out. The preferred method is to blow it against the doors, but my unit in my garage is hanging near the over head door because the way I have my garage laid out that space was unusable for anything else. It works fine and I if I were to do it over I would hang it there again.

The door might feel a bit chilly, but how often do you work right against the door?

Can you hang it along side the over had door and blow the air back into the garage?
