Hello

I am trying to plan out putting up a ceiling in my pole barn garage, Im not sure how to address the existing wiring for the lights and outles that are on the ceiling

The part I'm looking for direction on is the wires that run up the walls and across the main beam across the long wall at 4 spots the runs go up into the joists and run across to a light or box

What would be the proper way to run the wire when the drywall goes up I'll upload a photo of what I'm talking about but basically how do you run a wire up through the ceiling, there is nothing to go behind as currently the electric is just stapled to a column and runs up to what would be the Atic or crawl space area

Here are the photos, the one shows the 5 lines running up to the main plate and across it, then at the end shows where they come down off where they go to a light and an outlet, but the other will need to go up into what will be the crawl space/attic, prior it was just stapled to the bottom of the 2X4 to run across to a light, now it will need to go up directly from the plate (not sure if thats the term for what looks like a 2X8)

Not sure how to run the wires properly in this situation without redoing everything.

Don't now what is code in your area but I ran plywood from panel strait up to the roof. What I would do is follow that blue PEX in photo one stapling it every Ft. If you have to rewire sow be it I don't think you will have to do much of that.
