due to city rules can't expand garage so.....I want to raise ceiling hopefully to 12' or close to it and tear out floor (concrete) and repour to 4-5" with psi of 3500-4000 psi so I can install 2 post lift inside.
-roof is hip design with cross beams or whatever they are called across top of 8' walls.
-garage attached to back of house with entry into the house via door.
-approx 20x22'
questions: what can I do to brace the inverted V roof supports (trusses?? roof wood nailed to and then shingles) so I can raise ceiling to allow top of car to basically rise up into the attic area
-what is required to repour cement to meet lift psi and ensure proper support and connection into house concrete
-don't want roof to cave in or floor to crack of cause house foundation issues
-house located in west texas (mostly dry, low humidity)
hope I have given some kind of idea of what I want to do, any help is appreciated.
