Still working on my workshop salvage project. Slow but in the right direction I think.
Anyway. I am going to install the flashing in the roof to finally seal the roof from the weather.
I bought enough expanding seal tape to do one run on the new flashing. Where do I put it? I am thinking on top. That seems to be the easiest place for water to get in......?

So - tape on top of the flashing between it and the underside of the top bit of the metal roof????

Another project that kept me from finishing my garage goals
A painting job that turned into a new cedar shingle roof and replacing a lot of rotten boards. Needs other work too but this will keep it from falling down at least.

i work for a company that builds all steel gazebo kits and we put the expanding tape (butyl tape) basicly anywhere that the water could get in on the seams... so where the ridge cap flashing is going to go... if that makes sense.
