Well I've owned my 44" for about a month and have filling it up and need to expand. I was looking on the HF website at my options. I would really like to have the side drawer cabinet on both side of the box but at 189 a piece it doesnt make much sense to buy 2 when I could buy another 44 for the same price. My options on what to buy

Top chest for 275 with coupon then later add a side drawer cab.
Buy another 44 for 350-369
Buy a side drawer cab, fill that up then look at my options
Buy the 5 drawer industrial cart
Sell this 44 and buy the 56...

Would like to here what you guys think.
and I hope Im not beating a dead horses on this subject.

That's easy . . . .

Buy more of them!!!

Haha for you Steevo that has been no problem.

One thing I didn't mention is that I probably will be taking my box to work soon. We have room but I cant make a Train of 44''s

I want to say cart. But i don't know the situation.
Is this at work.
A big garage.
Enough room with a vehicle, where the cart would really be useful.

So those being thoughts. The cart if your going back and forth a lot for basics.
The side cab if it's right near by(then debates over top chest.)
But you can do another option. The top chest and cart, in one shot. Free up room in the box, have room to expand, and have the mobile option all at the same time.

Or sell it, and use that on the purchase of the 72". Someone will say it so it's out of the way now.

What do you value most? Floor space (get a top), work bench space (get another bottom) or portability (get a cart)?

Sell and get the 56". Deep and wider. If that runs out of room, 56" top chest. $1300 for a **** ton of storage. $699 on bottom and $399 on the top. The drawers are 19.75" deep where the 44" is only about 16" deep in the drawers. Jmo

I have a 56" HF Roller and there is a world of difference in the room in the drawers...:D:D:D

Buy the 56" Roller and the top box, and you'll be fixed....:bounce::bounce::bounce:

Or the HF 72" Roller for $ 999.00, and hope they make a top box for it soon...

Or buy THREE more 44" rollers, like Steevo did!!!! (That makes them a 176" Not Very Easy Roller Train!!!)...:scared:

As others have stated it really depends on what you need.
For me recently I needed more smaller drawers and a flat work surface so I went
with a 44" and a 26" on a frame that looks like :007 (Medium).jpg

My cost with coupons was $700 and I plan to sell the NIB 8 drawer top on CL to get alittle cash back. The thread linked below has more detail as to how/why /etc.

I really want that, the side drawer cabinets are 189 a piece and I saw the top chest for 275 W/ coupon. Total investment of $1003 + tax at that cost I could be looking at the 56 with top chest or even a 72........Decisions decisions decisions

I ended up buying another 44" as I don't like top boxes. I have them side by side creating a large work surface. If for some reason I need more space, I would consider a side box or a service cart.
