Saw this online in my research for my workshop table....thought it was pretty cool. Anyone ever do something like this for a work table in their garage?

Being able to expand a work table for larger projects seems like a good idea to me. I always thought these expanding round tables were kinda cool too.

The problem you will have is that all the tolerances in all those sections are going to add up. You aren't going to be able to keep it flat and place any kind of real load in the middle while it is extended.

The middle has legs so that won't sag, each side is made up of a solid panel, I'll bet it would work fine for most projects I do, plus it wouldn't need to be that big.
