I guess this really isn't much of a flooring question but I thought this might be the best place to ask the question.
The wood in the expansion joints in my driveway have all gone to ****, pulled out, or are just in very poor condition and need to be replaced with something. I've noticed in quite a few of the places that the wood has been pulled out that there are either nails or wire running through the joint so pounding a new wood strip back in place might not be the easiest solution.
Is there something out there that can be used to fill these in and still get the expansion/contraction that is needed?
I've thought about just mixing up some mortar a little on the thin side and pouring that into the joints but thought that might not really be the best idea in the long run.
