Thinking about expoying my garage floor this spring. When the floor was poured, the contractor used thin foam strips inserted into the pour for the control joints (no saw cuts). These strips were set below the finished surface and the concrete was allowed to back fill over the tops a slight amount during finishing. Over time a small surface crack (1/16" or so) has developed over the foam. If I am going to epoxy the floor should I
1) Ignore the cracks and paint over them
2) Fill the small cracks with Sikaflex or some other filling agent
3) Gouge out the concrete over the foam and back fill with something
4) None of the above - better ideas?
