One week ago today I found my way onto this forum, I have passed through here a few times over the years but never stopped to look around. Well, after hours of staring at garage *********** in the gallery area and reading dozens of threads I started to get motivated and one week later I am here to say thanks for the ideas and boy its easy to spend money on the garage.
Improvements completed:
1. Installed 3 x T5-8 8ft fixtures over main parking and 2 x 4ft fixtures over work bench. I never knew how important lighting was to the "feel" of the garage.
2. Never liked my old 26" craftsman box with sliders, so based on feed back seen here I sold my old box and bought the HF 44" and the 5 drawer cart. I am very pleased with these two boxes.
3. I built a stand for my HF porta-band and turned it into a table top band saw. (been wanting to do this for years)
next:
1. I couldn't pass up the Gladiator 30" cabinets for $99 at sears so I bought 3 and will have them mounted behind the workbench this week.
2. I am researching floor options. I really like the racedeck floors but need to do more research.
