Like the title says, I'm looking to see if anyone has experience with G Force hinges.

http://gforcehinge.com/

I've got a sagging old gate with fence posts that just aren't beefy enough to support traditional strap hinges (which is why the gate is sagging). These look like a perfect fix, especially since I wouldn't have to replace the 4x4 posts after removing the strap hinges.

Let me know if you've used or have an opinion.

Following up. Customer reviews on their site are good...which isn't a surprise. Thought I'd post my two cents here if anyone ever stumbles across this.

My situation - Cedar double swing gate spans an 11' driveway and uses standard pressure treated (pine) 4x4's as the anchors for the gate on either side. Old gate was falling apart, the hinges didn't look like they were rated for the weight and were bending/falling apart as well. The original builder probably should have used 6x6's and beefier hinges.

I found the gforce hinges online and decided to try them out since they use the 2x4 fence board stringers to bear the load of the gates (more surface area). Because of how they are used, it's also way easier to make a gate square, plumb and sag free. Basically, you just build a section of fence with some extra reinforcement, then cut open the middle section when you're done.

Opinion - These things are a little pricey, but totally worth it if you don't build gates all day. Building a set of double gates that meet perfectly in the middle and look symmetrical is challenging (for me). Using these hinges made for a set of gates that look totally professional. Thumbs up.
