Expert Ratchet Wrenches - Decent or not?

I have an opportunity to buy a set of brand new metric Expert extra long double box end ratchet wrenches for cheap. I just want to know if the box end and wrench in general will be strong enough to actually use as an extra long wrench and if the ratcheting ends are smooth and durable? I know not to use the ratchet end to break nuts and bolts. In general are they "decent" wrenches. I know they aren't Snap On's.

They are China Mac tools line. Not the best not the worst. I wouldn't be scared to bow up on them but I wouldn't pay truck price for them

Depends on what price you can get them for. If its under 150 , go for it . If not look at the Gearwrench set on Amazon for like 150. Like Stage said Expert isnt the best or worst.

I would not buy extra long boxed end wrenches with both ends ratcheting. With the extra length and stress involved, I think you're asking a lot out of a wrench. I prefer the Gearwrench Gearbox style or The Matco proswing that are extra long but have a fixed boxed end one side, and a fine toothed ratcheting boxed end on the other side.

I have an expert ratcheting combo wrench set and it is alright. Had the selector switch fall off one but my supplier just swapped it for a new one. Haven't really beat on them at all yet.

I definitely wouldn't buy double end ratchet wrenches. These are 0 degree offset with ratchet one end and 12 point fixed box on the other. And the price is $80 brand new. The way I look at it is if either end is 1/2 decent then they're worth the money as I don't have any long metric box wrenches. If the ratchet mechanisms do hold up and work properly that'll be a bonus! I'm gonna go for it. I will let you guys know how they are.
