I seem to remember the story behind that pict...something about the truck or the Ferrari crashed into the garage. If anyone knows the story, post it up...

Seeing as how the garage door is bent over the Ferrari, the F-150 must have been doing the crashing.

What has always fascinated me about this picture is the fact that a (at the time) new Ferrari is parked in such a mundane 2 car garage.

I'm pretty sure that the Ferrari was the one that crashed into the garage...someone got the info??

<edit>

Nevermind...I found it.

Steve Marts
5117 Jenny Lind Rd
Fort Smith, AR 72901-8526
(479) 649-8882

Listing Details

* Job title: Owner
* Company: Steve Marts Collision Repair

Also, the most expensive house for sale in that area according to Zillow is listed at $160k.

Google also returns some court stuff including "Steve Marts d/b/a Steve's Imports."

I always get curious when I see these cars in middle class neighborhoods.

I have had a couple of neighbors in the past that live in mid-level homes but have high end cars and boats
also known a few people that have high end homes and 10 year old chevys or fords

its all a matter of priority

Hi Lou, guess what LN did this time.
Shall I just email you the pictures and fax the estimates?
Sorry your agency loss record went up again.

Hey it could be worse, you could also be the neighbor's insurance agency.
Bye Lou

haha i feel like that guy!

My car is 11 years old. Oldest car by 10 years in my entire neighborhood. everyone else has brand new caddys and Hummers. I drive along in my 96 Oldsmobile delta 88. But, it's paid off, and my house isn't on a 5 year ARM....

I remember getting that photo along with a chain email. It was some joke about a wife telling her husband: "Honey, I did some minor damage to the truck and garage door, but not to worry, your car stopped me from doing to much damage, and oh yeah, ....... your girlfriend called"

I always point out to my kids this broad generalization:

People that don't have money spend it like they do, and those that have money spend it like they don't.

See it all the time....

my wife worked in a inner city school. Very very poor area.

The kids parents would pick them up driving brand new escalades and bentlys worth 15 - 50x what their house was.

Why? The kids answered the question, they told her on several occasions, you cannot drive your house to the mall.
