extend car lift overhead beam

Considering extending the overhead beam on my bendpak- I can make hydraulic lines not an issue there, but the cables go to both posts - possible there might be enough cable free length? mine came in two widths and considering extending it approx 14 inches to the larger spec

Upon further research the arms are longer on the wider lifts so ill just tuck the mirrors in -
