Honestly, you'd be surprised at the number of places you can sneak it into when you're desperate, I mean try hard enough. The smaller profile is honestly the only reason I upgraded from the 2767 to the 2967.Those are so huge you probably wouldnt be able to get them into tight spaces anyway, even with a short anvil.
I have the Dewalt DCF961b. It's got power for days, but aside from being heavy its huge profile makes it difficult to fit anywhere there isn't unfettered access.
