I have the air compressor and it has always been a pain for me to move it around. It is about 36" tall. The handle makes it hard to balance the unit and roll it around as I have to be in sort of a crouched position to reach the handle especially after tipping the unit to get it onto it's feet. I know the tank is aluminum and I believe the current handle is also aluminum. I'd like to have some sort of extension that would give me a handle about 12 - 14 inches higher. Any suggestions?

Fabricate an extension from EMT, also known as Thin Walled Conduit.
EMT can be modified with ordinary hand tools, drilled and bolted or attached with clamps.

So, how would you bend EMT without a tubing bender for this project? Thinking about a U to attach on the uprights below the gauge panel. Outside width of uprights is 14.5 inches.

you can always just find the right size tubing cut that handle and extended it ? do a slip over and weld or slip over and through bolt and nut ?
