Extended tire chuck wanted.

After being cleared for work after 3 months of a broken hand from an exploded tire....

Long story but beer and carelessness caused the injury.

Looking for a tire chuck on a hose a good 3-4 feet away from the trigger? Anyone know of such?

I saw one from national pneumatic but longer available and the princess auto/harbour freight are not long enough for my liking. I want to be standing clear of the rim etc when pressurizing up. Air pressure at the trigger is also nice.

Myers has one with a 7 ft hose, but you would have to change to a clip-on chuck.

How bout a tire cage also. I see ford trucks have a warning sticker to use a remote fill hose on them.

The only think with milton is I don't think you can lower presure with it.

Astro Pneumatics is $55 and worth every penny. It has a clip on chuck and will also allow air release with the hand lever. Hose is about 21" or so.

I am sure that a person could make one up very easy, I know I have enough parts in my box I could build one in no time at all, Use a clamp on chuck on the valve stem, and a blower valve with a pressure gauge and what ever length hose you want. Good luck, It would be easier to spend the 50.00 and get one all ready made.

Could you share with us a synopsis of what went wrong? I'm guilty of having a flinch when seating beads.
I use the blue point 4 foot inflator with the twist lock chuck.

We do special runs of 6' 3018's for trucking companies. I can hook OP up with one when we do the next, in the name of safety.

Picked up a 4' Milton one I never seen before, 40$ Cdn. 24" or 36" hose. It's underneath the pile somewhere until I start my air manifold system.

Finger shattered in 3 places, knuckle even after surgery is 1/2" back and finger doesn't grasp all the way much less less strength.
