I have an 8x10 concrete slab recently poured on the side of my house that I planned to use for a shed. It wasn't until afterwords I realized that I can build a 12x10 without a permit in my area so I definitely want one in that size.
The unfortunate thing is this slab has already been extended once, as the contractor originally had it as a 4x8 - so things are starting to get a little silly here.
Is it necessary to further extend it with concrete to put in a shed? Or would laying down some hardly compacted dirt or gravel for the remaining 4 feet be sufficient?
