Extending driveway sides

You know, I was never into installing car audio or related even though people asked me. that market segment was so saturated and everybody was doing it for very competitive pricings and I sent people away. When it came to alarm/RS, especially when CANbus was introduced in imports and domestic, it was great money.

Like many others I started off at Best Buy in 1999 and at the time there were about 5-6 "local" shops around us. On the flip side I would say 75% of the jobs/cars I worked on were fixing/finishing DIY and other shops work. You'd be surprised....a lot of the time a DIY fix was better than a shops

Maybe I am biased since the townhouse owners across the street from me have their garages full of old fridges and stoves and then park 3 cars on the street blocking my driveway.... But I am for the mind set of buying a house that fits your needs. If you already don't have space I would look elsewhere.

Like you, I can't afford a monster house with tripple garage so I purposely chose a house that does not have a sidewalk allowing me to fit at least 2 more cars. Just my $.02

A retired fire station would suit me perfect but I don't think the wife would go for it . We have plenty of people space, so toy space had to be sacrificed a bit.

Whatever you do, make it look proper and nice. The closer you're to your neighbor, you would have to consider the affected appearance of your added driveway.

It's very interesting to see how many people hate the HOA and then some that say they are happy that someone will prevent a neighbor from luring asphalt up the property line.

Get to know the neighbors and ask them what they think about your plan. A sure way to piss of a neighbor is to move in and start pouring asphalt without discussing it.
