Extension ladder leveling legs

I have an aluminum werner extension ladder that i need leveling legs for. It is just for around the house and in frequent use. The ladder is stored outside and i want something that can be mounted and left on the ladder. What is everyone using?

I use the original LittleGiant levelers. I got the first one free when I bought my ladder 20yrs ago, and the second one at a yard sale for a few bucks. Sadly, it's no longer available. They have a new model now that's even more expensive. At $170, it's way too pricey for an aluminum stick with a clamp.

I'm sure that someone else is offering a similar design for much less, but I'm not sure who.

Werner makes levelers that bolt to the ladder legs. work great. mine have been stored outside for 20 years. wd40 every once in a while

We have these on some of our fiberglass work ladders. They are authorized accessories since we have Werner ladders and the ladders are factory drilled for them.
I personally wouldn't anything but accessories made by the same manufacturer as the ladder.

I don't know what kind of ladder you have and I am comparing fiberglass to aluminum. Just to show what we use.

The levelers on my ladder have a problem in winter. The tubes are hollow and the feet are pressed into them. In winter rainwater freezes and eventually pushes the complete foot out of the tube. I leave the ladder against the house as I live under oak trees and have a lot of trips up to clean the gutters/roof off. I am going to try some corks in the tubes to see if that will stop them freezing and coming apart. It is chained to a ton of steel steps and guard rails so I am not worried about somebody stealing the ladder.

These are the same ones I use, I only have them on 1 ladder atm but have used them for a long time and they hold up well. The only issue I have with them is the weight, heavy little bastards, not a big deal if you only use the ladder every once in a while but carrying them around all day and on and off the service van they become a pain.
