Exterior concrete coating

After powerwashing my garage apron and house patio I wondered if there is a coating or sealer that can be used outside. The garage faces due south and is exposed to sunlight summer and winter. The patio is on the north side and only gets full sun this time of the year, consequently I get a lot of mildew there. Is there something I can use to reduce cleanup and keep my concrete looking new?

Yes.

You can stain/waterproof it. Thompsons, etc. Pretty much any wood stain will work on concrete from what I have found.

H&C is carried at Sherwin Williams and makes several different treatments. I am considering their clear sealer for mine.

Wolverine Coatings AcryliSeal 3501 will handle those chores nicely. Inexpensive, easy to apply, very durable. It has a nice gloss finish, and if you really like the wet look, that's also easily achieved.

I've been away from the computer for a few days. Thanks for the help. My hope is that mildew will not form on the patio with a sealer. And if it does that cleanup will be easy.
