Exterior Concrete Sealer

I thought I would try over here since I got little love in the Discussion Forum. I have some colored stamped concrete around my patio that I have been repainting each year with a cheap acrylic sealer from Menard's (I bought a 5 gallon bucket of the ****). At the time, I thought the "professional grade sealer" meant it was a good product but it fades after just a couple weeks and my concrete looses the glossy wet look and just looks old.

Can anyone suggest a better product? I have read Wolverine Coatings AcryliSeal 3501 to be a possibility but at nearly $300 for 5 gallons, I rather buy something 1 gallon at a time. A reply to the other thread suggested I look for a concrete supplier but I have none local. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!!

This is what my wife uses on therocks in her gardens. They look like they are varnished all year. Does get flat over the winter though.

We have a global world now.
Search further afield. :)

True enough. That is why I came to a global forum to ask for advice.

I had thought experiance with different products by GJ members would be far more informative than asking a paid salesperson about their own products. I am not saying they would be biased but as I said, I did by a "professional grade" sealer that is plain shittie.

And that Legacy stuff is beyond what I can afford. I would like to by the product in a gallon size since I have only a small area to paint.

Thanks!!

Hopefully we'll be offering AcryliSeal in one gallon kits soon, we certainly have enough requests for it, and thank you for considering our products! And for the record it's $225 for a 5 gallon kit, which will coat about 750 - 1,000 ft2 with two coats (you can dilute the first coat with water, which will result in a higher gloss finish).

We actually discussed the 5 gallon minimum size packaging today. It looks like that will be the smallest size available for awhile.

But, we did make some adjustments and we're able to offer the 5 gallon kit at a lower price, just $200.

We were also able to lower the price of the DecoFlakes. Lower prices are good!
