Exterior Driveway to Epoxy Transition?

I'm preparing to apply an 100% solids epoxy and 2-part top coat finish to my garage interior. I have about 2" of exposed concrete outside my garage doors that I understand should not be coated since epoxy is not rated for exterior UV exposure (its south facing too).

I'd like to coat the exposed area with something because I have two small areas of damage that I want to hide after repairing.

What exterior product's are recommended to transition to epoxy? Being at the entrance of the garage, this area will have tires driving over it often...

Any recommendation would be appreciated!

You can color match an acrylic latex concrete paint to the color of your epoxy. The latex acrylic will not amber and will hold up fairly well if just driving over it. It's also easy to touch up if it gets damaged.

Thanks for the reply Shea!

So a product like an exterior paint? I have some left over Sherwin-Williams Duration exterior paint - I just never thought that it would be tough enough for concrete. I do agree it would be easy to maintain touch up if needed!

Yes, just make sure it's OK for concrete. Some have actual concrete formulas. Latex acrylic paint is never a good solution for a garage floor, however, for such a small strip that you just drive over it can do fine. It also works well for stem walls in the garage.
