Exterior Light(s) for my Garage

Hey Guys and Gals,

I am coming ever closer to finishing my garage. Floor is in, siding is done, garage door is ordered and just waiting on that to be installed, new windows are installed and I am slowly finishing the interior walls with 1/2" plywood as weekends allow.

I have come to the point where I need my exterior lighting. I have a 2 story garage and will have one light up high centered on the exterior.

I am looking for a light that is strong like a flood light, motion detection, but doesn't just look like a flood light. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I am also thinking of adding some exterior lights on either side of the garage door but those would be mostly decorative.

I like 2 stage. I have a couple work lights on switches and some under 20 watt that come on at dusk, mine are on a timer but there are other ways. It makes enought light to move around, walk up in and out without messing with switches, same for my office counter, not even a switch for general, all task, same for the shop, 2 13 watts hanging in the ceiling eliminates switching until its needed. can go in for coffee, put wood in the stove, walk anywhere at any time. Night lights really.
Outside I have 3 between 5 buildings, covers about 4 or 500 feet. In the winter even a bit brighter against snow.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

I think I am going to go with a gooseneck for up high, but I gotta check the clearance on my mounting location to my 2nd floor door swing. And then I may go with some extra lights on the far sides for added light coverage so those snowy nights snowblowing.

I wonder if you could do a gooseneck up high with one of those led ufo high bay lights mounted inside. Gives the look of a old light with excellent light output
