Dennis can come in here and confirm but I'm near positive he's said no warranty on the Toptul stuff he sells beyond issues at time of delivery which he will fix. So if they arrive bent in half he'll help you out. If you break them in a year you're on the hook. However, they are really cheap for a good set of wrenches and realistically you could just buy a replacement if you somehow break them... Though I doubt you will.

I have the long handled HF wrenches.. In my basement, I have bolts with 1" square nuts through some beams, and with the open end on the nut, I can hang off the wrench with my feet off the ground for a second.. I'm 5'10" and @185-190.. If I put gloves on I could probably stay on it longer..

The Toptul XL are realy long compared to other Euro/German wrenches, I like them very well, top quality !

And the prices here in Germany are absolutely ridiculous in contrast to Hazet/GEDORE/Stahlwille/Facom

In respect to Toptul, thank you all for the assurance. :)
Is there anything I can do to make up for sizes, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 23mm, and 24mm? (even though some of this sizes will never be used)

What ever happened to good old Craftsman? Time to move away from Craftsman...

Craftsman went to china :scared:

Hello there,

Had the same problems (availability as well as price) with finding sizes 10-19mm for these extra long spanners so I went with Toptul for 8x10, 12x14 and 17x19 to which I added Beta 13x15 and 16x18.
Toptul is satin finished while Beta is mirror polished but I don't mind the mismatch. Length wise they are a match.
I payed 65Euros overall, if I would have went for the Beta set it would have been more than double the price.

Interesting. Those Betas match the Matco finish.

I have both the Matcos and KTCs, I believe the KTCs are the longest in most sizes.

I know that Halloween is just around the corner but why all of a sudden are so many Zombie threads being resurrected?
Ha. Made me laugh.

Might as well keep it going at this point - was someone actually worried about the Harbor Freight wrenches snapping?! How bad are those wrenches? I've never broken a wrench in my life.

I have Gearwrench XL wrenches that I love. Ratcheting box end on one side, regular box end on the other (that protrudes a bit for recessed fasteners). I really like working with XL wrenches - XL ratchets for that matter too. It's not for the ham-fisted. You can strip fasteners in a hurry. If you know what tight feels like though, the length makes it easier to get there and to tell once you're there.

I have snapped a performance tools wrench with my bare hands. No cheater pipe. Fast easy warranty, so no big deal. I was trying to snug a bolt down.

Last time I looked at the long HF wrenches, some little bastards had bent them all in the middle.
I was amused because:
1. They bent ALL the wrenches in several sets.
2. They were still out on display like that.
3. All the customers laughing about/at the bent wrenches.

They are the number one wrench set for alignments, it's not a complete set either. Every shop/dealer that does alignments I have ever worked for has this set for that good v cut and long handle, and I've had my own set for almost twenty years. I own many wrenches. The 14mm box end of that Pittsburgh set has been ground down to fit in "who designed this?" places.

honestly i have heard very little bad about them. as far as length they are more in the xxl range than xl.

the northern you talk of are slightly shorter and since they changed to klutch branding i thinked the quality dropped. sadly the numbers of xl length wrenches are just not as common. if you kept a sharp ey out you may find smaller sets like 3/8-3/4 and 10-19mm from sk in the low 100 dollar range but it goes up from there
I have very little need for the long wrenches myself, but have you every thought of cutting the wrench in half and welding the new corrected length you need in the middle of the wrench??

I don't get into Harbor freight often enough to see things like this. Thanks for sharing.

I buy a lot of "single-use" tools for our work crews. For tools that will get destroyed, lost, stolen, or mutilated they are more than adequate.
