I saw this toolbox in an ad for one of my local flea markets. Any idea on who makes this monster? I know there's the Snap-on Mr. Big 144" box, but this definitely isn't made by SO. I'm no expert, but I would think this box would need a few more castors for support when loaded...

what did they want for it?

Not sure, it was just a Craigslist ad with pictures of items that are for sale at the flea market, but no prices. It is about 45 minutes from my house, so it is a little out of the way for me to go and check. I don't need something this big, just curious about who made the box.

These are all over the craigslist/surplus market in MN. Based on how they are sold I would say they're imports.

:+1: Different variants pop up from time to time. They are also on ebay. The local ones list the manufacturer as "Dragonfire".

i dont need one, but it sure is pretty . . . . . i wonder how well it is made? maybe it is a prototype of the new hf box . . . . .

They red one in the CL ad above is an import. They sell them at the Ritchie Brothers auctions here. Seen them in red, orange and blue. Not sure how many they actually sell, if any but from what I hear, ones like that and bigger usually go for around $1000 Cdn.
The blue one in the OP looks a little different than those plus it has wheels. Still looks like your typical bulk made for many suppliers import box.

I think its the same manufacturer, different length/layout. I have seen a bunch with wheels and with legs. Generally the PC look the same.

It kinda looks like the built in set ups you see in dealership shops. It's the wrong color for Toyota, maybe it's surplus from another brand. Could it just be on casters for shipping?

Looks like some benches I saw in a local ad awhile back but with added wheels. They were made by a Canadian company but I can't think of the name.

I know a guy who got 4 of them for his hydraulics shop. He said he got them from Dragonfiretools.com. Said they were not like the ones that Ritchie Bros sells, but much higher quality even though they look the same on the outside. Said he had a few from Ritchie Bros and they were cheap tin, while these were very solid. Someone must have upgraded the design and decided to make something worth while.
