Looking at getting a damaged bolt remover socket set. I have a few small Craftsman sets but am missing several sizes. Comparing Turbo sockets and Rocket sockets. Are the Rocket sockets rebranded Turbo sockets? Looking for 10mm - 19mm sizes. What are peoples experiences with these or any other brand that is made in USA

Blue point has good turbo style sockets, IMO they grip far better then the Irwin/Craftsman units I have. S-K has turbo sockets, Williams offers them as well. The Blue points I have are slightly different style so they may not be the same OEM, they are more straight walled. As far as I know all are USA made.

These are the Blue points I have,

I also have a couple sets of 1/4 drive from Matco, they run in metric sizes of 1/4mm (7, 7.25, 7.50, 7.75 and so on), and can be quite handy for small stuff. They are spendy.

The new Mac rbrt extractors are awesome. The have a driver rod to knock the bolt out after you get in loose too.

Possibly a good deal on an SK set, looks like it's on clearance of so sort.

I've got a set of lug nut removal sockets from Astro that have the Flank bite, they work well for rounded stuff similar to the Non slip Matco sockets. Not really the same as a trubo socket in a sense (not tapered internally). I'd like to pick up a 3/8 drive set some time.
