Hey guys. I converted my garage to a “craft room” for my lady.
She uses laser engravers/cutters and is currently using an undersized fume extractor. It takes up room on the bench top and does a poor job of extraction.
I’d like to run a flame resistant hose from her bench top up through the ceiling, into the attic and out the side of the house.
I don’t work with these materials often if ever so I need some suggestions.
-What could I use as a transition between the ceiling and the attic. A coupler, flange or something similar that would not look so hack and allow me to seal the room from the attic and not allow the hose to fall back into the room or otherwise be pulled?
-What fan would be recommended? When I made the room/attic I did a junction box on either side of the room so I can tap into that for power.
-What hose would be recommended?
Spark arrestor or the like? I can find a vent for the side of the house unless something else is recommended?
Thanks.
