If Shannon can't get anything talk to Brian, he's at the extreme warehouse almost daily. You can't go wrong dealing with either one. Also, if you have the coin, I'd recommend the heavier ex series box, that's more of a preference to me, specs for the heavier box I like better.

Both websites feature the green 72" and are pretty easy to find. All specs laid out as well.
True, there are green on both, but not the heavy built “Extreme Elite” . The green are lighter built boxes. Plenty good I am sure, but I am only gonna buy once.
Shannon,
That bigger 84” box layout is much better than the 72” . September is soooooooo far away!

That is pretty wicked. Do you have drawer measurements available?

So, that is built to the Tool Vault Elite build specs? Looks like a stainless top as well?
Looks like it might be worth the wait.

I knew a guy that had a tool vault. I say knew and had, cause we're no longer friends. It was a nice box, my only wish is that they'd make a full length top 2 drawert for the 72" then make that part of the 84". I think that would be a nice addition. But, anyways, his was nice, I didn't like the hutch door, it just seemed flimsy and thin, it was also noisy to open. Some gas shocks could make that a smoother operation, but the drawers opened full length and we're heavy. I'd buy one if I was looking. Hell I may sell my snap on for the 84", but not if they only come in green. Sorry but green tools are ugly.

This will be the ToolVault XL line. It is a step heavier than the ToolVault. We are using 11 gauge frame, 16 gauge shell and 18 gauge drawers. It will come standard with stainless top and spring casters.

Thanks for the info.
Essentially the same build quality and specs as the Extreme Elite it appears.

I sent you a PM, I will call tomorrow to get in line for preorder on the combo.

I believe it is, but I want to say also that Shannon told me it wouldn't have the same sheen as the extreme box, but still a nice finish.

I have the 84” combo on pre-order. Shannon said he expects it in on the 15th. It should ship out to me within a day or so hopefully, after they open and inspect it.
Looking forward to a real toolbox FINALLY!
I only waited 50 years to decide it was time.
Will post a review once it is here.

Stumbled on this site while checking reviews on these extreme Tool boxes. Reviews are great but it’s hard to spend that $ without touching it. I don’t really want to spend 6k on a Matco box/hutch but I need something soon. Around 55” with a hutch and locker.

You can put your hands on them at strictly's warehouse I think. Extreme tools warehouse also I think. And also, the reviews are all mostly positive across the board.

Has anyone used these toolboxes everyday for years? Wondering how they will hold up in a shop.

For the tool vault series, I think it gets better with use. The heavily loaded drawers on mine was hard to pull out the last 2" due to the stiffness. Especially the double slide one. This has gotten better over time.

If the slides do wear out, they do sell replacement slides. So as long you don't tip over the box or run a car into it while the drawer is open, they stay square and you won't have an issue.

Mine was supposed to deliver on Friday, but FedEx must have had a holdup. Now it looks like Tuesday, as I will be out of the shop on Monday. Starting to make room today though.

Sorry, life has been busy. I meant to update, but......
Anyway, I unpacked it when it showed up, out in the parking lot to inspect prior to signoff like instructed.
Let me say, it was very well packed and protected- plastic wrapped, styrofoam panels, and a plywood box. Probably took 15-20 minutes.
It arrived in perfect shape.
I then had about 10 minutes to fork it into the building, and open a drawer or two.
Then it was back to work for probably a month to a month and a half before I really had a good 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to check it out fully.
The quality of build, and the paint did not disappoint!

Very happy with my selection, and Shannon and the crew were great to deal with.

You start to realize just how pathetic your tool collection is when you try to put them in this unit.
Yes, it IS big enough!

I believe this might have been the first 84” box with hutch they sold by ToolVault. Same build specs and metal guages as the Extreme, but with more color options, I think.

x2 they both look great.

Any chance of seeing what you have stored in the drawers?

Dentaltec, how is that top of that top box? Does that open up?

Congrats to both you guys. Those are awesome! I'm really liking that 84" set up. I'm sure glad they weren't available a couple years ago or that set up might have replaced what became my lista build. Fortunately I have no regrets but still those are saweet!!
