Extreme tool box at hd

So I was at my local hd Friday and noticed they have an extreme box, i fondled it for 10 or so minutes and am pretty impressed. The fit and finish seemed good, the drawers were tight, and the 30in depth was INSANE. For 3500 out the door I think it would be a pretty fair deal

The 4 bolts for the side handle is impressive; most boxes only give you 2.

I realize the extreme is deeper but does it justify almost twice the price of the HF 72"?

I thought the Extreme box was a thicker built box over the ToolVault/Montezuma boxes but that side handle looks cheesy as hell compared to the ones that came on my recently purchased ToolVault box.

This is ALOT more box than the HF boxes. Feels a lot more solid

YEP!!!

Check out the difference in the weight of the two boxes...HF---528 lbs, and Extreme---1,100 lbs shipped...and the difference in depth 22 vs 30...and the...and the...

I have the HF 72's first cousin the HF 56...

And for me it works just fine...

However, since my Wife bought it for me, for Christmas, I stopped saving up for Extreme's 55" Professional...

One of my coworkers has the same box. Has it packed full. Working in aircraft hangers we roll our boxes around a lot. He loves that box. Rolls good and has solid drawers.
