Hello, a newbie here from South Jersey, and recently retired Honda mechanic. Greetings all. With my current setup, and a lot of options on portable lift system, I have decided that the EZ car lift is best suited to my needs. Does anyone here know of a group buy that's actively going on? As for me, a difference of about 250-300 dollars is critical to my budget. Any inputs hared is greatly appreciated. Stay safe everyone, and advance Thxgiving to all.

Seems ok but those videos look about 10 years old.
Ouch @$2118………for a mechanical lift seems rich. To lift different width vehicles appears you need additional Cross bars at a cost.
Not a fan boy for the “quick lift” but its electric, 7000 pounds capacity and $1800 shipped. Yes electric hydraulic lift has is it own short coming………maybe the mechanical lift should $1200-$1500 shipped ?

Not that I know of but you could contact the EZ car lift folks and see if they'd be up for doing a GB and run it yourself.

I just crawled from under a car on my Ez Car lift a couple of hours ago. I like mine because I can use it in my garage, in the driveway, or over at a friends house. I got it over the Quick Lift because it would go up up a bit higher, and the Quick Lift stuff that might have been ok was backordered.

When I ordered mine, I ended up talking directly to the designer/owner. He saved me some money by explaining how I could use just a single cross member to service a wide variety of vehicles. And also dissuaded me from buying some supports I didn't need.

Call him, he's done group buys before.

Thx Skellyii. I did talk to him yesterday, and he did suggest the xm c69 spacers, and the REK extenders for my application. He said that if I order that with the XM64-5062 lift, he's going to include shipping with my order which makes sense. I forgot to ask him about the group buy, but, he did say that there is no upcoming sale for the rest of the year. The price is what it is, OUCH. My question is, with the c69 spacers/crossbars, what will I do with the ones that come standard with the 5062 model? Since as you had said with your application, the c69 option will cover most Honda models in my situation. I emailed him about it, but he has not replied yet.

Question: are you ADDING the C69 or replacing them with the standard 5062 spacers?? One set of your choice comes with the lift, any additional ones are extra cost, at least that's what he told me, and the way I was billed.

The C69 option was the one I ended up with as well, I didn't get/receive/order any other spacers. Remember, you can turn it perpendicular for some vehicles.

Ah ok, guess I misunderstood him then. That made sense. I did a front brake job yesterday on a friend's
2017 CRV, and man, my back ached afterwards. I'm a need this soon. Thx again for replying.

I'm currently using a friend's EZ Car Lift. I like it because of the excellent side access, infinite height adjustment and tall lift height, but there are some issues. It has the 64" spacers that are recommended for a GM G body and they're almost too wide. The frame is only on about 1-1/2" of the inside of the rubber pads. The next smaller size cross bar is too small. I think there's a custom size that would be perfect. The other thing is my garage is not wide enough to allow me to roll the lift out from under the car to get the car out. They make a "drive over" kit that allows you to push the lift to one side and drive over the cross bars. Not an option for one guy with a vehicle that doesn't run. They also make a drive up ramp kit, but again, not a one man option for an unpowered vehicle. The hydraulic lifts give you the option of pushing them both under the car to bring it in or out.

My friend said he may not "need" it back, but if he does, for almost the same the money, I may go hydraulic if I get one.

Geez..."Just keep it"?? That means "free", right? :):)

Getting the right spacers for the car(s) you're going to be working on make a BIG difference. Between my son and I and some friends, we have about 10 vehicles that we currently work on, so getting the right spacer for us was a big deal.

A friend and I had looked at the QuickJack over the last couple of years, but there are different models of those as well, and you have to buy the one that matches the length of the car(s) you're going to be working on.

I don't have the "drive over" kit, and frankly, my garage ***** as far as width, so I just put the lifts on each side of the car, attach the spacer to the first side, then slide it under the car far enough so that I can attach the other side. I do that for operative and non-operative cars.

I use it out in the driveway a lot, out there I have the room to slide the whole thing fully assembled under the car.

BTW: Definitely NOT a fan-boy of either the EZ Car Lift or the QuickJack, they both fill my current need, but when I upgrade to a house with a better garage, or the room to build one, within the next year or so, I will install a proper two point lift.
