I own one and I think it is just great. You need to call EzCarLift and talk to the owner, Boytcho Manev...he will be the one to answer the phone. I know he has some special pricing going right now...if I remember correctly, $300.00 off. You can talk to him about it.

I love mine and wouldn't be without it. You can call Boytcho anytime, even the weekend, he always answers his phone. He is really knowledgeable and will be more than happy to discuss the lifting of your Corvette with you.

I really like the design and versatility but the capacity is too low at 4400 LBS and the price is nearly as much as a "real" lift!

The EZ lift is much too expensive for what it does, though the portability is a big plus, especially if you race or do autocross. I got a 6k lb capacify MaxJax for about the same money.

The Kwik lift is OK, but I'm not sure it provides that much over jackstands or traditional ramps.

I also believe that the EZ lift is rather expensive for what it is.

I have a Kwik Lift, and am very happy with it. It will get the car much further off the ground than traditional ramps and I feel MUCH more secure under the car than I did with jack stands. My preference for the Quik Lift was in its simplicity. No motors, no hydraulics, no moving parts, no special installation. My floor jack is always handy and is very reliable. Now, all that being said, I also believe that the price of a new Kwik Lift is also excessive for what it is. I waited for a year and a half to find a craigslist deal that was in my price range.

If someone could market something based on the EZlift design with a 6K LB capacity at around $1K, I'd be all over it. I'm no expert on what manufacturing costs run but it seems like it should be doable to me.

the problem is the cost of materials, metal and aluminium is expensive doing one is not worth it it will run close to $2k or even more, I have spent and time, looking for right shops that can bend and fabricate similar lift, for just doing metal work I was close to 1000, then mechanics was another issue, but the time I got everything I was over 2100 ,
there is a groupby coming princing i heard will be under 1600

Yes, the ez lift is expensive. But I bought one anyway because it does things no other lift can.

I can get it under my car, lift it easily without damage. I can use it in the garage or out on the driveway in the summer when the garage is hotter than hell and I get better light.

I have unobstructed access under the car.

You can take it apart and take it with you if have a need although I don't.
