Anyone ever purchased or seen an EZ Creeper?
https://ezcreeper.com/
It is used more in the aviation industry but could be used in automotive also. With my present back problems and after two knee replacements I have problems getting up off of a standard style creeper. This one sells for right at $1000.00. There is one on the market called the Human Hoist but priced at $12500.00 its a little out of my price range.

Those really are a great invention, but if you have the space you’d be better off with a vehicle lift of some sort.

I don't have clearance for a taller lift but I do have a Quickjack BL-5000 that works very well.
The EZ Creepers height is 7" as compared to my Matco standard creeper so that is a concern, although with my extensions on my Quickjack I believe I will still have enough height.

If I didn't have a lift I'd buy one, seems like a lot of money but what are you going to do if you can't get up and down anymore.

I'm seriously thinking about one. Like I said having two knees replaced in 2015, then having some serious lower back issues in the past year has made it hard to get up off the floor or creeper. I think I could deal with the extra height of the unit as long as it performs as stated. The cost is what it is, there isn't anything else on the market that does what it does. I was hoping someone had seen one or knew someone who had one but apparently not. After all I'm 65 years old, still drag race although I had to take most of last year off, have a 61 Impala BBC street car and I just purchased a 49 Chevy business coupe that I want to build into a straight axle gasser. So to just stop working on stuff is not an option at this point.

I'm in the same boat here, I stopped turning wrenches for a living and started driving truck, so I'm OK there, but when I spend all day in my shop, I only last about 7 hours and my legs are sore. Just walking and standing on the concrete gets to them. I've been doing my handicapped mechanics alterations for a few years now. I have a hydraulic lift table, a 2 post lift, a cherry picker and just got a platform lift. And I'm getting ready to order a rotisserie. I'm almost 100% handicap friendly.

I know there are many more guys out there that could benefit from items like this and other similar products. I'm suprised there aren't more choices on the market. The Human Hoist would be a great addition for many people or even shops but the cost is just to high for most people, myself included.

I could've used one when I was an RV mechanic. Only had two lifts in the building and 20+ bays so a lot of work was done under vehicles on ground level. Lot of time spent getting on/off creeper.

OP, you can build a gasser so my thinking is you can also design and build a creeper to fit that need.

Probably for far less than a grand. I built two kinda regular type ones years ago that still serve in the shop I left them. A lot more beat up but working.

The dude behind these was on some Cessna forum long ago and seems to have been a bit shady about details. Selling known non functional units or something.
