Excuse me if this has been asked before but searching on common terms such as EZ Red don't seem to work too well.

I saw a set of dual head flex ratchet wrenches. It seems they have a universal spline. It says they fit almost everything, Torx®, Square, 6 Point 50% Rounded, 12 Point, 6 Point, Spline ...uhm. Is this possible?

I guess I'll buy a set if I'm sure they don't tear up the bolt heads.

I have matco brand equivalent. Even though the universal sizing is close to torx there were some play. I haven't applied full torque to find out if it will round up perfectly good bolt it was handy to use ratcheting action once I broke loose the bolt with proper sized socket. It was BMW starter bolt btw.

Those wrenches are awesome. The only thing I have had a problem with, if you really torque on them, they get stuck on the bolt. They really dig in. Like on Jeep front hubs, they have 12 point 13mm bolts. If they are rusted they are almost round and a socket just spins on it. Those wrenches grab so tight, you have to fight to get it off the bolt
